神咒之王King of Mantrasསྔགས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་པོ།
准提咒是七俱胝佛同说的陀罗尼。千年来，祖师判它为密藏第一：能含诸咒，独部别行，不拣净秽，人人可持。下面每一句都附原典出处。The Cundī dhāraṇī was spoken by seven koṭis of Buddhas. For a thousand years teachers have ranked it first in the esoteric treasury: it contains every other mantra, stands complete on its own, and anyone may recite it. 如大海能摄百川，百川不摄大海。Cundī contains every mantra; no mantra contains Cundī — as the ocean takes in the hundred rivers, and the rivers cannot hold the ocean.
七俱胝佛母Mother of Seven Koṭis
过去七俱胝佛——七千万佛——同说此咒，故准提称七俱胝佛母。诵此一咒，即与无量诸佛同一音声。「即入准提三摩地，说过去七俱胝佛所说陀罗尼」Seven koṭis — seventy million — Buddhas of the past all spoke this dhāraṇī; so Cundī is called their Mother. To recite it is to join their one voice.“Entering the samādhi of Cundī, he spoke the dhāraṇī spoken by seven koṭis of past Buddhas.”
神咒之王King of mantras
道㲀大师判：一大藏经神咒不出佛、莲华、金刚、宝、羯磨五部二十五部，准提总摄其全。「准提真言，密藏之中最为第一，是真言之母、神咒之王。」Daoshen taught that every mantra of the canon falls within the five families and twenty-five divisions, and Cundī embraces them all.“Of all the esoteric treasury the Cundī mantra is first: mother of mantras, king of spells.”
独部别行A practice complete in itself
不依他部坛法，自成一部。一面镜即是一坛，镜坛总摄一切诸坛；无镜者，想一镜在前亦得。「独部别行，总摄二十五部真言坛法。」It needs no other family’s altar: one mirror is the whole maṇḍala, and the mirror-altar includes every altar. Without a mirror, imagine one.“A separate, self-sufficient practice that encompasses the mantra altars of all twenty-five divisions.”
千年古法A thousand-year practice
隋唐之际传入中土，地婆诃罗、金刚智、不空、善无畏相继传译；辽代道㲀集成显密圆通；明清莲池、憨山、了凡皆持此咒。「不问在家出家、饮酒食肉、有妻子，不拣净秽，但至心持诵。」Brought to China in the Sui and Tang and translated by Divākara, Vajrabodhi, Amoghavajra and Śubhakarasiṃha; unified by Daoshen in the Liao; kept by Lianchi, Hanshan and Yuan Liaofan.“Whether lay or ordained, whatever one eats, married or not, pure or impure — only recite with a whole heart.”
准提镜 · 九圣梵字：中央唵字，周匝折隶主隶准提娑婆诃八字。祖师云镜坛最尊最上，总摄一切诸坛。The Cundī mirror: oṃ at the centre, the eight syllables ca le cu le cuṃ de svā hā around it. The Xinyao ji calls the mirror-altar the highest altar, containing all others.
十八臂18 Armsཕྱག་བཅོ་བརྒྱད།
准提佛母三目十八臂，当胸二手结说法印，其余十六手各持法宝。每一件法宝都是一种救度众生的方便。点击法宝，看它代表什么。Cundī has three eyes and eighteen arms: the two at her heart teach, and sixteen hold emblems, each a skilful means of saving beings. Tap an emblem to see its meaning.

修持坛Practiceཉམས་ལེན།
依《显密圆通成佛心要集》普传次第，人人可修。点击念珠，每念一遍拨一颗；满一百零八颗为一串。经云满九十万遍，罪障消灭。The open sequence of the Xinyao ji, for everyone. Tap the mālā to move one bead per recitation; 108 beads make a round. The sūtra praises 900,000 recitations.
